Harnessing Neurodivergent Thinking

A Talk by Dr Leah Collins (Clinical & Health Psychologist, Transitioning Well)

About this Talk

“The world needs different kinds of minds to work together” (Temple Grandin).

We know that no two people are exactly the same. The manner in which we experience and interact with the world around us is unique to us. We each think, process information, learn and work in different ways. Neurodiversity refers to the differences in how the human brain functions. Yet, recognising and embracing the complementary powers of diverse thinking requires a supportive and inclusive environment in which each individual feels free to think, work and create in a way that works for them.

In this session, Transitioning Well will explore the concept of neurodivergent thinking and how teams can embrace diversity of thought to enhance outcomes. You will be supported to broaden your understanding of neurodiversity and learn practical strategies to support effective communication.
